Non-Resonant Electron Spin Resonant Probe and Associated Hardware

Patent No.: US 11,294,075 B2

Date of Patent: April 5th, 2022

Abstract: A non-resonant ESR instrument/probe that can easily accept an identification card (or the like) form factor device incorporating a radiation-sensitive material providing reliable and calibrated dose measurement stably and permanently stored into the device and deployed to individual, persons, animals, or objects, to act as a personal-surrogate dosimeter primarily in radiation mass events with radiation dose derived from a measure of the radiation-induced changes in paramagnetic density obtained via transmission mode electron spin resonance measurements.

Electron Spin Resonance Spectrometer and Method for Using Same

Patent No.: US 9,507,004 B2

Date of Patent: November 29th, 2016

Abstract: An electron spin resonance spectrometer includes a bridge to transmit an excitation frequency and to receive a signal frequency; a probe electrically connected to the bridge and comprising: a first conductor in electrical communication with the bridge to transmit the signal frequency to the bridge; a shorting member electrically connected to the first conductor to transmit the excitation frequency to a sample, to produce the signal frequency, and to transmit the signal frequency to the first conductor; and a second conductor electrically connected to the shorting member; and a magnet disposed proximate to the probe.

Radiation Exposure Self Test (REST) - Optimized Personal Dosimetry and Kiosk for Reliably Indicating Exposure to Radiation

International Publication No.: WO 2015/039131 A1

Date of Publication: March 19th, 2015

Abstract: Described is a method and system that facilitates triage of thousands to millions of potential patients within a relatively short period of time by scanning of a substrate of a designated card issued to a victim. The method and the system comprise a plurality of noninvasive self-testing test devices located at a plurality of remote peripheral self-testing sites, and each one of the plurality of noninvasive self-testing test devices facilitates self-testing of the substrate of the designated card. Each of the plurality of noninvasive self-testing test devices provides test results of the scan of the substrate of the designated card, and the potential patients are identified, then subsequently screened and triaged based upon the test results of the scan of the substrate of the designated card.
